O, road which refuses to begin, we are a face that has beheld and loved daylight and presence. There was a god in our land but we abandoned him since he distanced himself from us. Behind him we burnt the temple of wax and the sacrifices. And out of absence we forged an idol of dust and stoned him with the presence, with the road which almost began.
