• Roses on My Tomb!

Roses on My Tomb! Your names are roses laid on my tomb, Yet I was not there in my grave! Verily, I do apologize! If I were therein, I would thank you! Pass by my grave in the evening, Possibly I’ll be there lying! May you always reminisce about us In your sorrows, Sharing with us our exiles, ferries and weeping; It was the journey of life Ending up in smoke! O ye sitting on the shores of our sorrows Where we with you ruminate Memories of our nostalgia! It was said: remembrance is poets’ amulet! Verily, the sun never grants us its youthfulness, The moon was found slain Investigating in an urgent meeting The cause of its murder, Diagnosing the disease! May we God endow us with the tranquility of hearts Maybe we could ascend a bit the ribs, Maybe we be watered to be potent one day! It is a moment where you face all what you fear, when you jump from oppression fence, To return to yourself in the eves! Verily, love is most magnificent, Despite all tragedies, It is the exquisite song we can chant!
